Paragliding In India
Paragliding and parasailing are almost the same with the only difference, that in paragliding you run down a hill and in parasailing you are tied to a boat with the big parachute and you are lifted up from the ground. Both the activities make you fly like a bird in the sky.
The bald peak of billing, above the Buddhist monastery of Bir in Kangra, has been the venue for five national and three international hang-gliding rallies since 1984. The site is perfect for paragliding too. Regular sites for paragliding are - Bundla Dhar near Bilaspur, in the Kullu valley and at Intkali in the Pabbar valley near Rohru.
