Ms. Prerna Dangi -Climbing frozen waterfalls in the remote parts of India
ATOAI had organised its 5th Adventure Talk Series on 3rd July 2021 with Prerna Dangi who is a Literature Graduate from Delhi University’s St. Stephen’s College ‘ 14 batch, Which is where she started climbing at the Hiking Club’s artificial climbing wall. She has certifications from the Indian Mountaineering Institutes and has grown in the sport through Field exposure to International Climbing Meets & Programs. Her nine years of vertical experience as a professional athlete and outdoor guide has been gained in several locations across the world including Alaska, Scottish Highlands, Slovenia, and Russia but for her, the ultimate challenge lies in the mighty Himalayas. Prerna is actively contributing to foster a strong climbing culture and community in India with an emphasis on getting more women into the sport and outdoors through the organization climb like a woman.
