The route entails views of rolling hills and lush green valleys. As you move up the altitude, mountain mist and clouds will float on this peak. This is the best viewpoint to see snow-clad mountains ranges and mesmerise yourself with the views of the Naga hills.
Dzukou Valley: Dzukou valley sits in the shadow of Japfu peak, the second highest peak of Nagaland. It is often referred to as the ‘valley of flowers’ of the Northeast. The vast rolling hills are enchanted by the vibrant shrubbery and tufts of flowers. The trek is a combination of flat plains and steep climbs, which gets more challenging with altitude.
Most trekkers prefer to take this trail during the monsoon, as the entire trail is much more scenic then. Twin rivers Dzukou and Japfu are your companions during the trek.
