14th annual Convention held on Jan. 17-20 2019, Araku, Andhra Pradesh
ATOAI held its 14th Annual Convention on 17th January at Haritha Valley Resort in Araku with welcome speeches by Secretary Andhra Pradesh Tourism Mr. Mukesh Kumar Meena and CEO APTA Mr. Himanshu Shukla and President ATOAI Capt Swadesh Kumar. This was followed by a keynote speech by Mr Huw Kingston, a famous adventurer from Australia who has been on many expeditions in India. Mr. Huw Kingston, is a well known Australian Adventurer, writer and environmentalist. He has spent over 30 years undertaking long human powered journeys in wild places across the world. He has numerous awards to his name including the Australian Geographic Spirit of Adventure Award and was named one of Time Magazine’s 25 Worldwide Responsibility Pioneers for his long term work to reduce plastic pollution. Huw is also an ambassador for Save the Children Australia and a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
